Love Island 2018 results! Who left? One couple dumped from the villa

Latest Love Island 2018 news, spoilers and results - who left?

One couple has been given the boot from the villa in tonight’s Love Island 2018 results.

In this evening’s episode, the couples went from six to five with another surprise dumping sending shockwaves around the villa.

During tonight’s show, in a favourite Love Island task, each of the couples were given baby dolls to look after for the day.

But at the end of the day there was an unfortunate surprise for one pairing.

After a public vote took place last night, one couple was given the axe as Laura Crane and Jack Fowler were sent home.

As the Islanders celebrated winning the baby challenge, a text arrived to interrupt the proceedings: “Islanders, please gather round the fire pit immediately.”

With the Islanders taking their places, further instructions arrived: “The public have been voting for their favourite couple. The couple with the fewest votes will be dumped from the island tonight.”

Texts then announced the three couples at risk were Megan & Wes, Laura & Jack and Kaz & Josh.

With the fewest votes to stay in the villa by the public, Laura & Jack were eliminated.

Jack reacted: “Leaving the villa is very upsetting because I’ve got a lot of friends in there and I had a great time in there. Ultimately I’ve gone in there for a connection with someone and I’ve left with a connection with someone which is what I wanted. It’s bitter sweet.”

Laura said: “I feel really happy about leaving the villa. I was in there for ten days which compared to some isn’t a long time but for me it was the perfect amount of time. I went in there and I came out with exactly what I was looking for. I met some amazing friends and I met Jack, so I’m happy.

“Leaving together, you couldn’t hope for more really. You go in there looking for love so I feel like I’ve been lucky and come out with what everyone hopes to leave with.”

As for the pair’s future, Jack said: “It’s going to be different leaving the villa and being in the outside world. We won’t be living together, it won’t be as intense but we are going to keep seeing each other, we are going to keep doing what we’re doing.

“Ultimately we are in a position where we’re trying to get to know each other as much as possible and hopefully end up in a relationship. It’s going that way.”

The latest elimination follows Josh Mair & Stephanie Lam finding themselves eliminated on Sunday, after the previous public vote. Their exit came after Georgia and Sam QUIT the villa in a shock departure.

The current official Love Island couples are Josh Denzel & Kazimir Crossley, Wes Nelson & Megan Barton Hanson, Jack Fincham & Dani Dyer, Paul Knops & Laura Anderson and Alex George & Alexandra Cane.

Love Island 2018 airs nightly at 9PM on ITV2.
