Love Island 2018 results: Dumped boys react to their exits

The two boys axed from Love Island 2018 tonight have reacted to their exits.

The new Love Island couples were revealed tonight when the girls were given the power.

Following the latest recoupling, two guys were left single and given the boot.

Kieran Nicholls and Idris Virgo both got the chop in the Love Island results tonight.

Dr Alex George got a last minute reprieve after being chosen by new girl Alexandra Cane to couple up with.

Speaking after his exit tonight, Idris admitted he was “gutted”.

He said: “I got on so well with the Islanders. I clicked with loads of them, they took me in and welcomed me. I’m gutted that I left. I was getting on with Kaz, Josh, Charlie, both Jacks. Me and new Jack fixed our issue and managed to get on too.”

Discussing his flirtation with new girl Alexandra, Idris added: “I was gutted she picked Alex in the recoupling because I thought me and her had a connection. We got on well but she had to make the right decision for her.”

Meanwhile, Kieran reacted to his dumping: “I feel gutted. Before I went in there, I thought one of the girls might be swayed but when you get in there you realise how strong some of the couples are.”

He added: “Alex is an absolute legend, he’s really funny. I wish Alexandra coupled up with me but if she genuinely feels something towards Alex then fair enough. I’m glad they’re getting on and they do share the same interests. There is loads they have in common.”

The current couples are now Kaz & Josh, Megan & Wes, Ellie & Charlie, Laura & Jack, Dani & Jack, Georgia & Sam, and Alexandra & Alex.

Meanwhile, there are now four official couples.

Tonight’s show saw Charlie ask Ellie to be his girlfriend, joining Kaz and Josh, Megan and Wes and Dani and Jack as being officially coupled up.

Love Island 2018 airs nightly at 9PM on ITV2.
