Love Island’s Alexandra Cane wants to join I’m A Celebrity

Love Island’s Alexandra Cane has put herself forward to appear on I’m A Celebrity.

The reality star is one of a number of celebs linked to the new series, which is expected to start next month on ITV.

Alexandra, who left Love Island single in the summer, said: “I know I’m A Celeb don’t like Love Island people but I’m determined! I will go on that show because I love everything they get involved in.”

She said she would love to do an activity show, also putting herself forward for Dancing On Ice.

“Something where you’re doing challenges or you’re active or you have to rehearse,” Alexandra told the Metro newspaper. “I love a bit of danger. I love snakes and I don’t mind spiders so I think I’d be really good on the show. I’d win everyone meals in the camp. Lara Croft vibes!”

However Alexandra is far from the only Love Island star who wants to compete in the jungle.

2016 Islander – and of course Blazin’ Squad star – Marcel Somerville has also been rumoured together with both Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay.

Meanwhile, other possible celebrities for this year’s series include Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer, Holby City actress Rosie Marcel, Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing and Inbetweeners star Emily Atack.

Also linked to the series are TV presenter Nick Knowles, Coronation Street stars Lucy Fallon and Catherine Tyldesley, and TV presenter Kate Garraway.

They could be joined by X Factor star Fleur East, EastEnders star Rita Simons and reality star Charlotte Dawson and The Saturdays’ Frankie Bridge.

I’m A Celebrity is expected to begin on ITV in November.

The series this year will be hosted by Declan Donnelly and Holly Willoughby.
