Kate Garraway has been named the new camp leader on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
In tonight’s show, Andrew Whyment told the celebrities that they had to vote for a new camp leader.
“Noooooo I’m not giving up my throne, I’m not leaving” reacted current camp leader Caitlyn Jenner.
One by one they went into the Bush Telegraph and cast their votes. Myles Stephenson brought down the ballot box and read the results. Kate Garraway got the majority votes and asked Ian Wright to be her deputy. “Ian do you want a bed and to be my deputy? I wake up every morning and look at you.”
James Haskell asked Kate to ensure Ian was a level headed deputy. “I’ll be there to apologise afterwards,” laughed Kate.
To cheers all round, Ian said he was honoured to accept the deputy leadership role and the pair went off to scheme on who should do what chore.
“It was really tricky because everyone wanted a change of job,” said Kate in the Bush Telegraph. “We can’t give people jobs they’ve done before so you end up with a mathematical nightmare.”
Getting impatient trying to work out the jobs an exasperated Ian said in the Bush Telegraph: “Can Caitlyn do this, can Cliff do that, what’s Jacqueline going to do because she doesn’t want to go up and down…”
He said to Kate: “Why does it have to be they can’t do something because they’ve done it before.”
Calming him down, Kate said: “Now as my deputy I appreciate your passion but let’s focus on the task.” They wiped the board clean and rewrote the chores so many times they wore the chalk out.
Happy with their final choices they made their way back to the others.
“If there is any moaning don’t succumb and say oh sorry, we’re going hard as a duo,” said Ian.
“So tough love,” said Kate. “What if Roman starts to cry?”
Ian assured her: “I’ll pick him up.”
They returned to camp and announced that Cliff and Jacqueline were the new chefs, “I don’t want to cook, I can’t cook,” said Jacqueline. “I would prefer cleaning the dunny, cleaning everyone’s poo and wee than cooking”.
Camp cleaners were James and Andy Nadine and Roman, washing up and maintenance was Caitlyn and Myles.
Said Cliff in the Bush Telegraph: “The subjects in camp are not happy in fact they are revolting, they smell revolting.”
