Jermaine Pennant and wife Alice Goodwin join Celebs Go Dating

Jermaine Pennant and wife Alice Goodwin have joined the Celebs Go Dating 2019 cast.

Despite being in a relationship, the pair have signed up for The Celebrity Dating Agency.

They are set to receive couples’ counselling from dating agents Paul Carrick Brunson and Anna Williamson.

Footballer and recent Celebrity Big Brother housemate Jermaine Pennant married Alice in 2014. Last year they appeared on The Jeremy Kyle Show to discuss their relationship problems.

Now they’re joining Celebs Go Dating for more help.

Jermaine said: “We wanna iron out some issues in our marriage. We’re bringing to the agency our issues of trust.”

Alice added: “Communication. We need to know how to communicate a little bit better I think. Keeping the marriage a little bit fresh I think.

“I think we ant to take away being a bit more united, strong, happier. Just looking forward to the future together.”

Jermaine agreed: “I feel Anna and Paul could help us understand each other a little bit more.”

The news follows Katie Price and her boyfriend Kris Boyson being forced to quit the E4 series.

A spokesperson for the show said last week: “Lime Pictures contracted Katie and Kris to appear on Celebs Go Dating on the understanding that they were able to take part.

“Unfortunately it has come to light that by appearing in our show Katie will in fact be in breach of her contract with another TV production company. Katie and Kris will not now be a part of this year’s Celeb’s Go Dating series.”

Meanwhile, the other (actually single) names on Celebs Go Dating cast this year include former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger and Blue singer Lee Ryan.

They’re joined by Geordie Shore’s Nathan Henry and Lady Colin Campbell, who’s set to be the show’s oldest ever singleton at the age of 69.

Completing the new line up of Celebs Go Dating 2019 are Love Islanders Jack Fincham and Megan Barton Hanson.

Celebs Go Dating will start on E4 later this year.
