X Factor duo Jedward have addressed rumours about their sexuality.
It comes as the duo sign up for a brand new TV show, Single AF on MTV.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the Edward half of the twin pairing said: “We meet girls all the time. Our fans have always know who we are. But others knows a different type of Jedward on from the different shows.
“I think because on stage we wear sequins people go ‘oh they must be a bit out there’.
“We never tone ourselves down. We’re not lad lads but we’re comfortable enough to just be on stage and do Prince vibes.”
John agreed: We don’t let that stop us. We do whatever what we want to do. We know who we are and what we are a lot of guys try so hard to be masculine and we’re able to have stubble and play guitar.”
Despite signing up for a dating show on TV, John said his relationships were “private.”
“That wasn’t part of my career,” he explained.
Jedward are joined on the line up for Single AF by Celebrity Big Brother’s Farrah Abraham and Geordie Shore’s Marnie Simpson, Stereo Kicks and Union J star Casey Johnson, YouTuber Elliot Crawford and Australian drag superstar Courtney Act.
Explaining the decision to take part in the show, John said previously: “I wanted to open up my love life to the public to show people what I’m like n dates and how I interact with girls.”
Edward added: “It’s going to be good for people to see us in those types of scenarios.
Single AF starts on Tuesday, October 24th at 10pm on MTV.
