Jane Danson, Brian McFadden latest celebs linked to Dancing On Ice 2019 line-up

Coronation Street and Westlife favourites could take to the ice

Coronation Street star Jane Danson and former Westlife singer Brian McFadden are the latest names tipped for Dancing On Ice 2019.

According to the MailOnline, Danson – known to millions for playing Leanne Battersby on the ITV soap – has signed up to compete on the upcoming 11th edition of the skating contest.

Her potential involvement comes after she was tipped as a future contestant by Corrie co-star Brooke Vincent, who took part in the last series.

“Jane Danson said she might have a go,” Brooke said at the time. “I told Lucy Fallon she should have a go as well. There are a few people actually.”

Danson has previously appeared on Stars In Their Eyes and ITV’s short-lived celebrity singing contest Soapstar Superstar.

Meanwhile, The Sun claims that McFadden is set to take to the rink after he was snubbed from the upcoming Westlife reunion.

“Brian is about to sign on the dotted line and is really looking forward to being part of the show,” a source told the newspaper.

Brian is no stranger to daredevil reality shows, having enter Channel 4’s controversial winter sports tournament The Jump in 2016.

This week, Dancing On Ice began teasing the line-up for what will be the show’s second series since it was revived by ITV this year.

Several close-ups of mysterious stars have been posted on its Instagram page, leaving fans speculating about who they might be.

Love Island stars Dani Dyer and Wes Nelson and TOWIE favourite Gemma ‘The GC’ Collins are rumoured to be in talks with bosses.

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Karen Barber is returning to Dancing On Ice as its new Head Coach.
