Jamie Laing ‘in talks’ to join I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here

Jamie Laing could be the next star of Made In Chelsea to join I’m A Celebrity.

The reality star is reportedly in talks to enter the jungle this year.

He’d follow in the footsteps of costar Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo, who took part and won last year.

Jamie is said to have impressed show bosses after appearing on spin-off series Extra Camp in 2017.

“Jamie has been telling friends he is in talks to do it, which is long overdue after his stints on the ITV2 show,” a source told The Sun newspaper. “Producers love that he has got a TV following and online fans with his own YouTube channel, as they are trying to snap up a younger audience.

“He’s a cheeky chappie and no doubt the public will fall in love with him like they did Toff.”

The new series of I’m A Celebrity is expected to begin in November on ITV.

Alongside Jamie, Holby City actress Rosie Marcel recently revealed she too has been ‘in talks’ to appear on the show.

The TV star says she’d love to do join the cast in Australia later this year.

Appearing on ITV’s Loose Women last week, Rosie said: “I’ve had a couple of meetings. I have spoken to them.”

She added: “It is something I would love to do actually at some point.”

More celebs rumoured alongside Rosie and Jamie are TV host Nick Knowles, Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer, former S Club 7 star Rachel Stevens, Love Island’s Olivia Attwood and Celebs Go Dating’s Charlotte Dawson, plus Corrie stars Shayne Ward, Lucy Fallon and Catherine Tyldesley.

Also rumoured are Love Island and Blazin Squad star Marcel Somerville, Inbetweeners star Emily Atack, snooker player Ronnie O’Sullivan, winter Olympian Elise Christie and Strictly Come Dancing pro Brendan Cole after his exit from the BBC One series.

A spokesperson for the show said: “Any names suggested for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here are speculation at this stage”

I’m A Celebrity typically airs in November on ITV.

Ant will not host the show this year after stepping down from TV work for the rest of 2018.
