Love Island’s Jack Fincham has discussed his split from Dani Dyer on Celebs Go Dating.
Jack and Dani won last year’s series of Love Island but confirmed they had separated earlier in 2019.
Opening up about what went wrong between the pair, Jack claimed they “rushed” things after leaving the villa.
Talking on last night’s Celebs Go Dating, Jack said: “If we had lived in Love Island forever, we’d have been fine. We rushed it straight away, we moved in together. I did want to [move in with her] but I wish we had waited.
“I let her rush me a little bit. We had a genuine connection in there and I think anyone can see that. Honestly, and I mean this, I wish her all the happiness in the world.”
He added to the dating agents: “I’m not a bitter person.”
Now single and looking for love, Jack went on: “100 per cent I’m over Dani and now I want to go and meet someone.
“I’ve missed out on so much dating. I haven’t done it on over a year.”
Speaking earlier this year about their split, Dani HuffPost UK’s BUILD: “It’s just one of them things, it didn’t work out. There’s going to be a lot of stuff going on about it, but it’ll be fine.
“I wish all the best for Jack, it just didn’t work out.”
Celebs Go Dating airs weeknights at 9PM on E4.
Alongside Jack, names signed up for the new series include former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger and Blue singer Lee Ryan.
Joining them are Geordie Shore’s Nathan Henry and Lady Colin Campbell, Love Island star Megan Barton Hanson, Chloe Sims, who previously appeared on last year’s series where she failed to find love, and her sister Demi Sims.
