Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer reveal truth about their relationship ahead of TV show premiere

Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer have spilled all on their relationship ahead of their new TV show.

Jack & Dani: Life After Love Island will follow the 2018 Love Island winners in a three-part series.

The show begins tonight (Monday, January 7) on ITVBe and continues Tuesday and Wednesday night.

Ahead of the first episode, Jack and Dani have revealed the truth about their romance insisting it’s a “real relationship” after that split drama.

Jack said: “In the villa you’re surrounded by people 24/7 that are massively supportive and will always give you positive advice. But then you’re in the big bad world. So you have the mixture of positive and negative. Basically it’s a real relationship now which is where you take the rough with the smooth, like anything in life.

Dani added: “Relationships in the villa are probably always going to be perfect, because you’re in a surreal situation. That’s all you have, each other. There is nothing outside to affect that. You come out of the villa and then have to re-learn about each other. In the outside world you have a job to wake up to and everything hits you like a lightning bolt.

“You’re learning more about each other and you’re also dealing with the life you live now. It’s not a normal relationship anymore, it’s a very public one and you’re also trying to figure out what you want to be. It’s about keeping the right balance.”

Both Jack and Dani admitted it had been difficult to adjust to having their romance play out in the public eye.

Jack explained: “The fact that every person has an opinion on your relationship, that’s the hardest thing. Before when you’ve been in a relationship, no one cares. Now you can do anything and thousands of people have something to say about it.”

Dani agreed: “It is really hard when everyone has an opinion on your relationship, but as long as we’re happy that’s all that really matters.”

She added: “Yeah, we just try to focus on being happy and ignore any negativity. We’re always able to have a laugh together.”
