Sarah Llewellyn shocked the Britain’s Got Talent judges at the weekend.
As auditions for the new series continued on Saturday, we met opera singer Sarah Llewellyn.
Opera is nothing new to BGT, but Sarah’s audition really did prove a surprise.
Just when you thought you’d seen it all on Britain’s Got Talent along came Sarah to flip the script with her one-of-a-kind act.
She showed that auditioning for the Judges is a piece of cake.
Starting her performance with a classic opera song, Sarah’s helpers Ant and Dec soon wheeled out a three-tier wedding cake.
She then began to eat the cake and sing – but wasn’t done there.
Sarah, a 32-year-old performer from the US, then started to strip and show off some impressive contortion tricks too.
The bonkers audition got four yeses from the judges, seeing Sarah through to the next round.
Other acts this week included Ben Langley and his misheard lyrics.
You’ll never listen to your favourite songs in the same way again after watching Ben’s hilarious audition.
Making up the judging panel this year once more are Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden.
As always, acts need three or more yeses to make it through to the next round – and potentially on to the live shows.
There’s also the golden buzzer, which currently only Amanda Holden has yet to press.
At the end of the series, just one act will walk away with £250,000 and a spot on the Royal Variety Performance.
Meanwhile, hosts Ant and Dec will be present for the auditions, watching on from the sidelines with a comforting hug whatever the result.
Britain’s Got Talent continues Saturday nights on ITV.
Plus, More Talent airs straight after the main show on ITV2.
