Andy Whyment and Roman Kemp won four meals and DRINKS for their I’m A Celebrity campmates in the latest Bushtucker Trial.
Between a lavish roast dinner, a trip to the Jungle Arms and the Dingo Dollar Challenges, this year’s line-up has had plenty of opportunities to win treats.
Yesterday there was another when Andy and Roman were sent to the ‘Pump of Peril’ to win dinner.
The group abandoned their usual system of picking names out a sack, instead choosing them to take part because they were the best candidates.
At the Trial clearing, Ant and Dec explained that Andy would be positioned in a cage, and Roman would be strapped to a wheel.
They had to work together to find two-part answers to a series of questions. Each round had a 60-second time limit.
There were seven stars up for grabs, the first six representing the usual meals. The bonus star was worth refreshing drinks for all the celebs.
Excited at the prospect, Andy remarked: “I’d love a Bacardi and Diet Coke.”
“That’s the most un-Andy Whyment drink I can think of,” laughed Ant.
The duo were dunked in and out of water as they searched for cards emblazoned with the answers.
To make the task even harder, rangers covered them in fish guts and jungle critters.
Having won four of the six meals on offer, they then had to find the two-word punchline to a joke in order to bag the drinks.
While Roman got hold of his word immediately, Andy struggled to spot his.
Fortunately, the Coronation Street star managed to grab it with just seconds to spare.
The pair emerged covered in gunge and smelling “horrendous” with an overall score of five stars, including the all-important drinks.
On the way back to Snake Rock, Andy said: “The questions were quite simple, but a couple of them we just couldn’t find.”
The other celebs were thrilled when Andy and Roman announced the news that they’d have a tipple with their tucker.
“The boys have returned victorious so we’ll eat well and have a nice little drink,” commented Jacqueline Jossa.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow at 9.20pm on ITV ahead of Sunday’s grand final.
