Gemma Collins has reportedly threatened to quit Dancing On Ice.
Reality star Gemma is one of twelve celebrities on the current line up of Dancing On Ice contestants.
She made her debut on the ice earlier this month, securing her place in next weekend’s show thanks to the public vote.
But there’s been claims of diva behaviour following the latest live episode on Sunday night.
Gemma is said to have kept the entire studio waiting during rehearsals by turning up late after having a nap.
Dancing On Ice host Phillip Schofield claimed on ITV’s This Morning: “The entire studio – that massive studio with all of those people involved – were all standing there waiting.
“We found out, ‘where is Gemma?’ for five, ten minutes, that whole studio, the schedule knocking on, oh she’s having a nap.”
Then during the live show itself, Gemma apparently decided to leave around 15 minutes before the end.
“She went home,” Phil told viewers.
Co-host Holly Willoughby chimed in: “I love Gemma, I’m a big fan of hers and I love her on the show. But I do think there has to be a bit of professionalism that comes into any work you do, just a bit of pride in your work.”
Phil agreed: “In all my years of television, I have never kept an entire studio waiting”.
Holly went on to slam the idea that Gemma’s actions were just her character ‘The GC’.
Holly said: “That’s just a really good excuse to get away with stuff you don’t want to do. I love the side of her but professionalism will always outweigh any of that diva behaviour”.
Following the complaints about her alleged behaviour, Gemma is said to have threatened to quit the show.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “She’s devastated by everything that’s been said and is threatening to quit.
“She’s feeling there’s a conspiracy to bring down their biggest star.”
Dancing On Ice 2019 continues Sunday nights on ITV.
