Gemma Collins says James ‘Arg’ Argent isn’t ‘mature enough’ for her

Gemma Collins says she won’t get with James ‘Arg’ Argent because he’s not ‘mature enough’ for her.

Gemma ruled out returning to a relationship with her ex and TOWIE co-star on Celebs Go Dating tonight.

The new series of Celebs Go Dating kicked off on E4 on Sunday night, with a big mixer for all the celebs.

At the end of the night, they selected their first dates for the week ahead.

Gemma was paired up with Lawrence and they surprisingly seemed to hit it off, prompting Gemma to ask for a second date.

Speaking with agents Nadia and Eden afterwards, Gemma discussed her dating past with Arg.

She told the pair that Arg wasn’t the ‘mature’ man she was looking for.

It’s despite Gemma saying last month she was “so in love” with him.

She said at the National Television Awards: “We are so in love. I’ve loved Arg for many years and we’ve always had a special connection.

“We have a deep love for each other. I’m so happy I’ve even picked what our babies’ names would be.”

She added: “The hard thing is we can‘t really show how we feel. I’m so happy and I can’t really tell people.

“Having said that, I have been on a few dates on Celebs Go Dating which have thrown a spanner in the works. So what will be will be.”

E4 officially revealed the cast of celebrities taking part in Celebs Go Dating 2018 series 4 last year.

Alongside Gemma they include Made In Chelsea’s Ollie Locke and Sam Thompson, plus singer Tallia Storm and comedian London Hughes.
