Gabby Allen’s younger brother could be heading to Love Island 2018.
Gabby appeared on last year’s show where she made it to the final week with Marcel Somerville.
And now her hunky brother Ethan has been tipped for the show, after appearing on TV last summer to support Gabby.
Gabby revealed to The Sun newspaper: “Ethan has been asked to do about five reality shows, including Love Island, Survival of the Fittest and Celebs Go Dating.
“He’s single, 23 and a lovely guy. But he has just got a pay rise in his job in investment banking in London so he doesn’t want to do TV, then struggle to be taken seriously in the professional world.
“He is good at what he does and he knows that there’s longevity in it.”
Last year Ethan said despite being a fan of the show, he wouldn’t be up for joining the villa, saying: “I love it but it’s not me.”
However an insider claimed: “Ethan didn’t want to go on the show initially, even though Gabby had such an amazing time. But producers were keen to get him on board and he’s been in for a couple of meetings.
“He’s not fully on board yet, and it’s too early to say who’s definitely going on the show, but he’s in talks and Gabby is encouraging him to do it.”
What will be the ITV2 show’s fourth season is expected to begin at the start of June.
The series, which sees sexy singletons searching for love in a sunshine paradise, generated numerous watercooler moments in 2017, with the exploits of couples including Kem and Amber, Camilla and Jamie and Olivia and Chris keeping viewers gripped throughout the Summer.
Head of Digital Channels & Acquisitions Paul Mortimer said: “At ITV2, we couldn’t be more thrilled with how Love Island fever has gripped the nation. Now established as the perfect series to start the summer, we’re delighted to be bringing the show back for our young adult audience in 2018.”
