Why did you apply to be on this new series of Big Brother?
I want to go through the experience of going into the house around a group of different and diverse people – backgrounds, cultures, everything. I think it would be a great experience to be around that as I’ve never done that. As I get older I really want to experience different things and I thought this would be the right time to do it and fortunately for me I have been picked – I’m quite chuffed, I won’t lie!
What do you think you’ll bring to the house?
I’ll bring a lot of happiness and kindness. I reckon I’ll be there for a lot of people. I’m not the type of person to fall out with anyone and if I did, I’d make up for it. I think I’ll bring a lot of positivity to the group.
What are you looking forward to the most about being a housemate?
The tasks. I know sometimes you get secret tasks and I want to put my acting skills to the test! I’m really excited about that.
Do you have a strategy for making it to the final?
No. I’m just going in as myself. I’m quite a loud and outgoing character anyway. I think I’ll be fine with interacting with others. I think being yourself is enough.
What are you most likely to get nominated for?
I don’t know – it’s going to be good to find out when I’m a housemate. I might be a bit straightforward. I say it is as it is. For example, if someone isn’t doing something then I’ll tell that person instead of beating around the bush.
Tell us one thing about yourself you think will surprise people the most?
I’m louder than I look. As soon as I get comfortable, you’ll know. The first few days will be getting to know people and sussing out who they are and what they’re bringing to the team.
Who would be your dream celebrity to live with?
Muhammad Ali. Just because of his character. I’d love that.
What would you do with the money if you won?
I have a five year old son. If I was single, I’d probably spend it on enjoying a few things. £100,000 is a lot of money and a good amount of money to try and stabilise a better future. I would use it to help my son as he grows older. If I do end up having more kids or a family later on – it’s sustainability for the family later on.
