Why did you apply to be on this new series of Big Brother?

I’ve been a fan for the longest time. I’ve wanted to do it from the age of 11 and never had the confidence to do it. As I got older, I was still obsessed with the show and as soon as it came back it was ‘this is my time to apply’. I really want to have a great time and experience everything that Big Brother has to offer – the highs, the lows, the good, the bad, the fun, the not so fun. I want it all.

What do you think you’ll bring to the house?

I’m going to bring good energy, good vibes, some fun, some love, some charismatic charm. I’m just going to be me and that’s the only thing I know how to do.

What are you looking forward to the most about being a housemate?

Just being in that environment. Heading to the diary room – I don’t know why I’m looking forward to that so much. And just seeing the iconic chair. Hearing Big Brother call my name. And being in an environment with other people that I would never normally meet in my life – that’s the whole point and I can’t wait for that.

Do you have a strategy for making it to the final?

The strategy is to just be me. The more you’re yourself, the more the public will see you as you. I think housemates will see you as you. I’m going to play it as it comes. It’s a game.

What are you most likely to get nominated for?

I’ll probably be nominated because I can be annoying. Sometimes if there’s a silence I like to fill it. I’ll probably get nominated for talking too much.

Tell us one thing about yourself you think will surprise people the most

On first impressions, people normally think I’m a bit of an a**ehole. What’s surprising though is that I am genuinely like a mum. I’m caring, loving and have a massive heart. I’m a big softie.

Who would be your dream celebrity to live with?

It has to be Amy Winehouse. I just loved her vibe. I love her music. She was such an icon – the way she looked, her style, her story; everything about her. I was obsessed with her from a very young age.

What would you do with the money if you won?

I’ve said from the beginning, if I won the money I would take a sabbatical, take six months off, probably take many holidays. I’d like to potentially start my own shop. I would also like to give some to my brother so I could give my nephew the best education possible.
