Former Strictly Come Dancing dancer Aliona Vilani has threatened one of her past celebrity partners with legal action.
Aliona has strongly hit back at claims made by her 2012 celebrity partner Johnny Ball.
Johnny and Aliona were partnered up for the 10th series, although never actually performed together live after an injury saw Aliona ruled out of competing.
Aliona was instead replaced by Iveta Lukosiute who danced with Johnny up until his elimination in the second week.
In a recent interview, Johnny hit out at his dance partners and accused his early exit of being a ‘fix’.
He alleged to The Sun newspaper: “Aliona fell on a flat floor in flat shoes and said she had broken her leg. The next day she flew to the South of France for a pre-arranged weekend with her boyfriend.”
Aliona, who left Strictly as a professional in 2015, has taken to Twitter to deny the claims.
And she’s also threatened legal actions over the allegations.
“I am aware that Johnny Ball has made allegations regarding my fractured ankle during 2012 SCD, which I strongly deny,” Aliona tweeted.
She added: “I have instructed solicitors and am taking legal advice in relation to his allegations. It’s therefore not appropriate to comment further at this time.”
