Fifth Harmony’s Dinah Jane ‘signs up for X Factor All Stars’

Former Fifth Harmony singer Dinah Jane has reportedly signed up for The X Factor’s All Star series.

Dinah Jane rose to fame on The X Factor USA’s second season in 2012.

After originally auditioning as a solo artist, she formed girl group Fifth Harmony together with Ally Brooke, Camila Cabello, Normani Kordei and Lauren Jauregui.

The five piece made the final where they finished in third place, going on to sign a record deal that saw them release three albums.

In 2018, the group went on an indefinite hiatus to pursue solo projects.

Now The Sun newspaper reports that Dinah has signed up to the upcoming UK All Stars version of The X Factor.

An insider told the newspaper: “Dinah has a record deal but this is a great chance to let people see who she really is. She will be good competition.”

The tabloid also claims that X Factor Australia winner Samantha Jade is also set to compete.

Host Dermot O’Leary recently teased that the new spin-off would welcome back “a few of the winners, a few of the sort-of nearly winners and a few of the more eccentric people.”

As for what British acts we can expect to see, 2008 champion Alexandra Burke is also rumoured to be making a return together with Ray Quinn, who was runner up to Leona Lewis in 2006.

Wagner, Honey G and Jedward have also been rumoured for a return.

However a number of past contestants, such as Rylan Clark-Neal and James Arthur, have ruled themselves out of competing.

For now, The X Factor continues this Saturday night on ITV with its new Celebrity series.

A number of familiar faces including US actor Kevin McHale and reality star Megan McKenna are competing for a record deal.

This weekend will see which acts have made it through to the live shows.
