Paddy McGuinness hosts a new BBC One TV talent show for tribute singers tonight.
The Stars In Their Eyes-esque series is called Even Better Than The Real Thing and airs its second of two special shows for 2017 this evening.
Paddy McGuinness said: “This show is a belter! A talent show that’s only about the talent – with the best tribute acts from around the world singing their hearts out.
“You’ll never have to fork out for expensive concert tickets again. You’ve got front row seats!”
This evening’s show is a fun filled Christmas Special hosted by Paddy.
The five competing acts pay tribute to music legends Michael Bublé, Michael Jackson, John Lennon, Kylie Minogue and Bruce Springsteen. They deliver breath-taking performances, each singing an iconic Christmas hit made famous by their musical idol.
The studio audience will vote for their ultimate champion, the one act who is truly ‘Even Better Than the Real Thing.’
The tribute acts appearing are Elton John tribute artist (PAUL BACON), Michael Buble tribute artist (PEET ROTHWELL), Michael Jackson tribute artist (ESHAN), Bruce Springsteen tribute artist (JERRY BRENNAN), John Lennon tribute artist (JIMMY COBURN), Ed Sheeran tribute artist (JACK SHEPARD), Kylie tribute artist (LUCY HOLMES) and Kate Bush tribute artist (MANDY WATSON).
The show airs at 7:10PM on BBC One.
The first episode aired back in September.
With music from the likes of Whitney Houston, George Michael, Little Mix, Ariane Grande and Bruno Mars – Even Better Than The Real Thing brought otgether performances from tribute artists who are quite simply the very best in the game.
