Dev Griffin and Dianne Buswell are devastated after their surprise Strictly Come Dancing exit.
On Saturday night, Strictly Come Dancing’s celebrity dancers and their professional partners once again each took to the dancefloor to impress the viewers at home – as well as judges Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood in the studio.
In the bottom two were Dev Griffin and Viscountess Emma Weymouth with the pair having to dance again for the judges to stay in the competition.
In the results, it was Dev Griffin and his pro partner Dianne Buswell who left Strictly Come Dancing 2019 this week after the judges saved Emma.
Following the results show, Dev and Dianne took to social media to share their reactions.
Dev said on Instagram: “It’s been incredible! I wish I could have stayed a bit longer but sadly my strictly ride has come to an end. ? .
“Thank you to all of the production team, wardrobe, make up, crew, pro dancers and celebs for looking after me and being like family to me these past few weeks.
“@diannebuswell you are the best! Thank you for being such an amazing partner and always pushing me to be the best version of myself.
“I’ve loved every minute of this! Good luck to the other celebs ?? I’m off to put my feet up for a bit ?”
Meanwhile, Dianne wrote on Twitter: “I’m sure you could all see how much this meant to us ? I’m truly gutted as @dev_101 really had so much potential and I wanted to teach him so much more.
“I won’t lie I’m devastated ? but thank you all so much for your support and dev thank you so much I’m so proud of you xx”
Following the results, Dev and Dianne will appear live on Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two on the sofa with Rylan Clark-Neal for their first interview live on Monday 14th October from 6.30pm.
Meanwhile, the remaining twelve couples will take to the dancefloor next week when Strictly Come Dancing returns as the celebs compete to make the Halloween special.
