Denise Van Outen confirmed for the 2021 Dancing On Ice line up

Denise Van Outen has signed up for the Dancing On Ice 2021 line up.

The actress, singer and presenter recently appeared on The Masked Singer as the Fox.

Now she’s confirmed to have signed up for Dancing On Ice’s next series in a deal reportedly worth £40,000.

Denise appeared live on Loose Women to confirm the news today (September 23).

Talking to the ladies on the Loose Women panel, Denise said: “I’m really excited, I can’t believe it and finally I get to tell people!” She said her daughter Betsy will be “so excited because she loves the show and we watch it every year.”

She added: “Hopefully I’ll be able to skate because I literally cannot stand up on ice and every time I’ve taken Betsy at Christmas time to a rink I’ve been the one on the penguin!”

Denise summed up: “After the year we’ve all had it’s going to be lovely and refreshing to see a bit of sparkle, a bit of glamour and see us all happy and smiling enjoying ourselves on the ice.”

As well as appearing on The Masked Singer, Denise has also taken part in Strictly Come Dancing and appeared on Broadway and in the West End in the musical Chicago.

Also confirmed for Dancing On Ice 2020 are musician & host Myleene Klass and soap star Joe-Warren Plant.

Meanwhile other celebrities rumoured for the 2020 Dancing On Ice line up currently include Olympian Colin Jackson, ‘WAG’ Rebekah Vardy, actress Faye Brookes, reality star Katie Price and former England footballer Wayne Bridge.

Also linked to the cast are comedian Rufus Hound, actor and singer Jason Donovan, The Mummy Diaries star Billie Faiers, rapper Lady Leshurr, actress Lisa Maxwell, Blue singer Antony Costa and Love Island star Alex George.

Lockdown permitting, Dancing On Ice will launch on ITV in 2021.

The show typically airs on Sunday nights from January.
