Dancing On Ice’s James Jordan joined by Strictly pros in training

Dancing On Ice’s James Jordan has got a helping hand this week from some old Strictly Come Dancing pals.

James, who was of course a dancer on the BBC One series for many years, has been busy in training for Sunday’s latest show after topping last weekend’s scoreboard.

And during practice this week, James was visited by former Strictly Come Dancing professionals Ian Waite and Vincent Simone.

Both Ian and Vincent got their skates on as James gave them a taster of life on the ice, having swapped the ballroom for Bovingdon ice rink.

James and partner Alexandra Schauman will take to the ice this weekend during the live show, where they will be performing to Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes.

Ahead of the latest episode, James took to Twitter to post a thank you video to his supporters.

He wrote to his 244,000 followers: “I just wanted to say a massive, massive thank you to all of you that have been voting for myself and Alex.

“It means the world to us. I’ve been reading all your tweets, I’ve been training really hard, it’s a relentless.

“It’s difficult but I’m loving it and your support means so much. It makes me want to push myself even harder.

“We’re trying new tricks this week and hopefully we’ll entertain you again. Your support is what is pushing me to push myself out of my comfort zone even harder.”

Alongside James & Alex, those left on the Dancing On Ice line up include singer Brian McFadden & pro skater Alex Murphy and cricketer Ryan Sidebottom & his professional skater Brandee Malto
