Dancing On Ice’s Holly & Phil want rows and romance from the new series

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are hoping for rows and romance from Dancing On Ice 2019.

The pair will be back on TV next month with what will be the eleventh series of the ITV ice skating show.

And discussing the upcoming season, Holly & Phil revealed their hopes of drama both on and off the ice.

Holly said: “I want there to be a romance. Wouldn’t it be great?

“I’ve set quite a few people up in the past and caused marriages and very successful relationships.”

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Phil predicted some arguments.

He told the tabloid: “A good row is great. I’m looking forward to seeing James Jordan, who told me, ‘The judges are professionals, I’ll respect what they say’. That’s going to last a week.

“Me and Holly will step back and let it happen . . . and if it’s not happening, I might poke it a little bit.”

A total of twelve celebrity contestants have signed up for Dancing On Ice’s new series, the second to air recently after 2018’s revival.

Alongside ex-Strictly Come Dancing professional, James Jordan, those signed up include Gemma Collins and Grease star Didi Conn are among the twelve famous faces joining the eleventh series.

Soap stars Jane Danson, Richard Blackwood and Mark Little, cricketer Ryan Sidebottom and TV host Saira Khan will also all take to the ice.

Completing the Dancing On Ice line up are Westlife’s Brian McFadden, Love Island’s Wes Nelson, X Factor runner up singer Saara Aalto and Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton.

The Dancing On Ice celeb and pro pairings were previously revealed as the couples headed into training for their first live show.

Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will be back heading up the judging panel alongside Jason Gardiner and Ashley Banjo.

Dancing On Ice 2019 will launch on Sunday, January 6 on ITV.
