Brian McFadden risks an early exit from Dancing On Ice, it’s been reported.
The Westlife singer is one of ten celebs left in the competition heading into Sunday’s show.
Earlier this series, he dislocated his shoulder and damaged his rotator cuff during training.
Although Brian was able to skate on, he is still struggling with the injury two weeks’ on.
Dancing On Ice’s Creative Director Dan Whiston told The Sun newspaper: “Brian is in quite a lot of pain with his shoulder injury but he’s not letting it get him down or slow him down.
“He’s having a lot of physio and carrying on with his training as he knows he can’t afford to loose any ice time.”
Dan also spoke out after Brian and pro partner Alex Murphy had a near disaster on the rink last weekend when Brian failed to land Alex after a lift.
Dan said: “Brian is still learning to skate, so mistakes can sometimes happen. Luckily he and his pro partner Alex managed to cover up the ‘drop’ and continue with their routine.
“I think the way they both dealt with what happened is testament to their strong skating partnership.”
Speaking previously about his injury, Brian revealed: “This stupid shoulder has literally put me right back to the start again. But now I’m nervous and I don’t know what’s gonna happen.
“It’s so annoying cause all the work I’ve put in to get here and I felt so good after the dress rehearsal I was like ‘yes I’m ready to go’ and then now to possibly not even being able to do the show because of an injury. So annoying. So frustrating. And such a stupid thing to do as well.
“If I’d have fallen over on my skates or something but just to have been practicing lifts and pop out a shoulder is ridiculous.”
Dancing On Ice continues live on Sunday 27th January at 6pm on ITV.
Alongside Brian, those still on the Dancing On Ice 2019 line up this year include Coronation Street actress Jane Danson, Loose Women’s Saira Khan, X Factor favourite Saara Aaalto, Grease legend Didi Conn and Pussycat Dolls singer Melody Thornton.
Completing this year’s line up were cricketer Ryan Sidebottom, Love Island’s Wes Nelson, Strictly Come Dancing dancer James Jordan and reality star Gemma Collins.
