Dancing On Ice 2019: Gemma Collins reveals painful injuries after fall

Gemma Collins has revealed nasty injuries to her knees after falling on Dancing On Ice last night.

In Sunday’s latest show, Gemma took to the ice for a third time, skating to It’s All Coming Back To Me Now by Celine Dion.

While the routine looked to be going well, Gemma suffered a stumble right at the end and fell flat onto the ice.

However she got right back up to finish the routine and managed to score her best marks from the judges.

Ashley Banjo said: “I’m so gutted for you Gem but you get out what you put in. You’ve obviously worked hard this week and it shows.”

“It’s amazing when you drop the GC and you come in and apply yourself, you improve,” added Jason Gardiner.

Christopher Dean concluded: “I think you proved you can improve Practice makes better. You looked like a new celebrity out there now. Unfortunately you tripped but let’s move forward from here.”

Although Gemma appeared unhurt, boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent later took to social media to reveal injuries to Gemma’s legs.

“Gemma’s legs terrible, look,” he posted alongside pictures of her bruised knees. “All round her knees, they’re in a bad, bad way.

“This one isn’t so bad, but that one I’m worried about.”

Talking to The Sun newspaper today (Monday), Arg said: “Gemma couldn’t sleep last night because she’s in so much pain. The swelling around her thighs and knees is horrific, and she’s black and blue all over.

“She’s struggling to walk so I had to carry her to the car earlier, and she’s been using [her mother] Joan’s wheelchair on and off all day because she’s in so much pain.”

He added: “She’s seeing a private doctor tomorrow who will determine what will happen next. It will be her worst nightmare if she’s forced to pull out of the show, she doesn’t want to be a sick note, she wants to continue and we strongly believe she’s a real contender to win.”

Dancing On Ice 2019 continues this Sunday night on ITV from 6PM.
