Dancing On Ice’s Kem Cetinay fears he could kill his pro partner

Dancing On Ice 2018 contestant Kem Cetinay fears he could end up killing his pro partner.

The Love Island star has signed up for the new series, which begins on Sunday night.

But Kem fears it could well end up being ‘Death On Ice’ due to his “clumsy” nature.

Kem confessed: “I’m more worried about it being ‘Death On Ice’. I’m just not sure whose death.

“I’m scared of dropping Alex on her head or tripping her over. She’s been great and has got a lot of faith in me, but I can be clumsy.”

He added: “It will be a miracle if I don’t break something before the show has finished.”

Speaking to the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper, Kem went on to reveal he took a while to agree to be on the show.

He said: “They approached me to do Dancing On Ice as soon as I came out of the Love Island villa.

“I took two months to decide until they said time had run out and I had to make a decision. I thought, ‘What do I have to lose, apart from maybe a broken leg?’”

Celebrities joining Kem on the Dancing On Ice 2018 cast include Coronation Street actress Brooke Vincent, Bucks Fizz singer Cheryl Baker, X Factor singer Jake Quickenden, Rugby hunk Max Evans, and ITV Weatherman Alex Beresford.

As well as viewers, they’ll be performing for a new look ice panel made up of former coaches Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, returning judge Jason Gardiner and new face, Diversity dancer Ashley Banjo.

Dancing On Ice will start on Sunday, January 7 on ITV from 6PM.

It’ll be the first series to air on UK TV since 2014.
