Dancing On Ice romance predicted by Christopher Dean

There WILL be a romance on Dancing On Ice 2018, Christopher Dean has predicted.

Christopher and skating partner Jayne Torvill will be back on TV next Sunday night with a brand new series of Dancing On Ice.

It’ll be the first in four years as the ITV show returns to screen, and Chris reckons romance is sure to happen.

“I guarantee there is going to be a romance but I couldn’t say who at this stage,” he said this weekend. “It’s so tactile. Literally you’ve got to hold, you’ve got to trust, you’ve got to spend the hours together.

“It’s always bubbling underneath – looks, touches, eye contact.”

“The body language is easy to spot,” Chris added to the Daily Mirror newspaper.

It’s sure to be good news for newly single Kem Cetinay, who says Dancing On Ice is helping him get over his split from Amber Davies.

Amber and Kem won Series 3 of ITV2’s Love Island in the summer and ended up sharing the £50,000 prize fund.

But after almost six months together, the couple called it a day earlier this month just before Christmas.

“With sadness, we’ve decided to separate,” they said in a joint statement. “We fell in love in the villa and want to thank all the fans of the show for supporting us.

“Our schedules made it difficult. We’ll remain good friends.”

Following the split, Kem has said that training for Dancing On Ice has been a “good distraction” for him.

He told The Sun: “Even if I’m out there [on the ice] on my own just skating around it’s good to concentrate on something. It’s cathartic.

“I’ve got really into it now as well, I’m videoing it and showing my mum and dad at home and they think it’s really good.”

Meanwhile, Chris and Jayne make up a new look ice panel with returning Jason Gardiner and new judge Diversity dancer Ashley Banjo.
