Reality star Dan Osborne has revealed he’s eyeing up an appearance on Strictly Come Dancing.
Dan rose to fame on The Only Way Is Essex and recently appeared in Celebrity Big Brother.
Now it seems he’s turning his sights to more reality TV.
During a Q&A session with fans over New Year’s, Dan spoke about the possibility of signing up for Dancing On Ice or Strictly.
“We will see what happens next year but I don’t know about Dancing on Ice,” he responded. “I can’t even dance on the floor, let alone the ice.”
Dan added: “I’d like to do Strictly Come Dancing because I’d like to learn how to dance and do it, but not on ice.”
Strictly will be back with its new series in the autumn and already a number of celebs have been tipped for the line up.
Actress Jodie Comer, best known for roles in Killing Eve and Doctor Foster, could be on the line up later this year if producers get their way.
Jodie told The Sun newspaper after appearing in the audience of the series last year: “They were like, ‘Maybe next year, Jodie … ?’ I was like, ‘Mmm, no, I don’t think so!’ I’d embarrass myself, definitely!”
Other celebrities already rumoured range from TV and radio host Fearne Cotton and X Factor star Olly Murs to BBC journalist Steph McGovern,
OddsMonkey spokesperson Peter Watton revealed: “The BBC tend to keep talks quiet, but we know a lot of celebrities are huge fans of the show.
“Fearne Cotton and Steph McGovern have previously been linked and it no surprise to see them linked again. Olly Murs would be a huge coup and clearly he is in the reckoning.”
TV and Radio presenter Chris Evans recently claimed he’s agreed to take part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2019 while Alan Carr has also confirmed he too has been approached to hit the dance floor.
Strictly Come Dancing will launch in September on BBC One.
