Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are set to appear in Coronation Street.
The TV hosts will make a cameo when Rosie Webster, played by Helen Flanagan, makes her exit.
Rosie, alongside Craig Tinker and Gemma Winter, will be seen appearing on This Morning after helping stop a crime.
The scenes will air on ITV on Friday, June 8.
Rosie will be leaving the series while Helen goes on maternity leave.
“Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby are coming in for a bit of fun and part of Helen Flanagan’s exit story,” Corrie boss Kate Oates said this week.
She told the Metro newspaper: “We’re kind of replaying a bit of a trick we have used before because Rosie has already been on shows but it will be great comedy.”
“Phil and Holly will play themselves – I had a couple of hopes where I thought I could get them to slightly play against type!
“They’re such good sports – I am very happy. That’s the benefit of being in a big production company like ITV – I know Emma Gormley who runs daytime.
“She’s an amazing, successful person and a good friend of mine so I was able to give her a ring and she said: ‘yeah, that sounds fun!'”
Speaking about her character’s exit, Helen said: “I’m going out in kind of very much a Rosie style.
“The storyline is hilarious. It is really, really funny. I’ve enjoyed that about my character, the comedy.”
The news comes after Kate was forced to defend her ‘dark’ storylines.
Promising “some of the best Corrie comedy” in upcoming episodes, she said: “For me, the best formula is to create stories that matter, good drama and add classic Corrie elements within that – that’s the holy trinity that makes the soap so strong.”
Coronation Street airs on ITV.
