Celebs Go Dating’s Nadia Essex has been forced to deny she’s died following a sick online hoax.
It follows an episode of the E4 show being pulled off the air last night.
Last Friday’s episode was dropped from schedules on E4, with a voice-over saying it was “unable” to be shown.
Unaware of the change, Nadia’s fellow dating agent Eden Blackman tweeted: “Seems #Celebsgodating isn’t on tonight. I don’t know why but it must be for good reason. Normal service should be resumed next week ?”
Instead of Celebs Go Dating, a repeat of Made In Chelsea Does Come Dine With Me was shown in its place.
E4 said the show was scrapped due to “editorial reasons”.
But Nadia has been forced to deny she died in a car crash following rumours on Twitter.
“NO joke. Coming out of dinner2 twitter saying #CGD was cancelled because I died has really upset me. My poor friends&family?@CelebsGoDating” Nadia tweeted.
Confirming she was safe and well, Nadia added: “Not true. Whoever started this is cruel and so upsetting to me ? @CelebsGoDating”
She went on: “It’s disgraceful. Was in a place with no wifi. My poor friends and family were beside themselves ? #CelebsGoDating
“Just got a million messages from my loved ones beside themselves with worry. Disgusting ?
“Whom ever started such a horrible rumour should be ashamed ? #CelebsGoDating”
Current Celebs Go Dating cast member Bobby Norris added on Twitter: “To confirm.. regardless of rumours, @LadyNadiaEssex hasn’t died. She is very much alive and fabulous”
Nadia replied: “Feeling a little upset and not so fabulous but love you for this, thank you ???”
Celebs Go Dating continues weeknights at 10PM on E4.
