After Celebs Go Dating, what happened to Gemma Collins and her pal Laurence?
On the show, the pair seemed to hit it off with Gemma inviting Laurence to the show’s finale in Cape Verde.
But this week Gemma revealed she had got back with her on/off ex and fellow TOWIE star James Arg Argent.
So what happened to Laurence?
“We hung out a bit away from the cameras but he wasn’t for me,” Gemma explained. “He’s a nice chap and I really hope he finds happiness.”
Speaking to OK! Magazine about appearing on E4’s Celebs Go Dating, Gemma continued: “I was being The GC on that show. The real off-screen, not stressed Gemma is far softer and sweeter.”
James told the publication that watching Gemma on the show was stressful.
He said: “It wasn’t the most pleasurable experience, but luckily I was in Thailand so I only caught bits of it.
“From what I saw, I was fairly confident she didn’t like any of the guys as much as she liked me.”
Gemma agreed: “I didn’t meet anyone on there that gave me butterflies like James does. Some of the guys were nice, but none of them matched up to him.”
Others on the Celeb Go Dating cast last time included Love Island’s ‘Muggy Mike’ Thalassitis, singer Tallia Storm and her ex Seb Morris. They were joined by Hollywood’s Jonathan Lipnicki, Olympian Jade Jones and comedian London Hughes.
Completing the line up were Made In Chelsea’s Sam Thompson and Ollie Locke.
