The latest episode of Celebs Go Dating 2017 ws pulled from TV schedules last night..
Season 3 of E4’s Celebs Go Dating was due to continue yesterday evening (Friday) at 10PM.
However the latest episode has been dropped just minutes before it aired, with a voice-over saying it was “unable” to be shown.
Unaware of the change, dating agent Eden Blackman tweeted: “Seems #Celebsgodating isn’t on tonight. I don’t know why but it must be for good reason. Normal service should be resumed next week ?”
Instead of Celebs Go Dating, a repeat of Made In Chelsea Does Come Dine With Me was shown in its place.
A spokesperson for E4 told the Mirror that the show was dropped due to “editorial reasons”, denying the decision was linked to Friday’s attempted tube terrorist attack.
“Due to editorial reasons there has been a change to the schedule. Celebs Go Dating will return on Monday,” they said. “It was pulled for editorial reasons. It was nothing to do with the incident at Parsons Green.”
Current celebrity dater Bobby Norris took to Twitter to reveal he was in the dark over the decision but said the show would return on Monday as usual.
He tweeted: “For everyone asking, I honestly have no idea why @CelebsGoDating was cancelled but I am told it will return Monday.. #CelebsGoDating .”
Last night’s episode was due to see James ‘Arg’ Argent and Sarah-Jane Crawford set up on a double date.
Those taking part in Celebs Go Dating’s third season include model Calum Best, TOWIE’s Bobby Norris, TOWIE star James ‘Arg’ Argent, and X Factor’s Frankie Cocozza.
As for the girls, reality star Charlotte Dawson, TV presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford and Made In Chelsea’s Georgia Toffolo have all also been looking for love on the show.
After Calum and Charlotte’s flop double date last night, where he failed to show, it was meant to be Sarah and Arg’s turn this evening.
In scenes that were due to air, Arg and Sarah-Jane are called in for a special meeting with Eden and Nadia. The agents are sending them on a double date, but will Arg fancy anything more than his beloved curry?
Meanwhile, Toff realises that her last date was too young and too far into her comfort zone, so the agents set her up with a 32-year-old traffic manager from Liverpool. Can opposites attract?
And after another successful date with Jack, the agents want to test Bobby’s feelings by sending him out with a hot new man. Will his head be turned?
Celebs Go Dating airs on E4.
