Megan McKenna is heading up the charts alongside the X Factor: Celebrity charity single.
Last Saturday evening (November 30) saw the live final of the new Celebrity X Factor, which has brought together familiar faces from the worlds of music, film, sport, television and social media to compete for a life-changing recording contract.
After singing a number of original songs, Megan performed a cover of Leona’s One More Sleep and her original song This in the final.
It saw her crowned the winner after receiving praise from judges Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh throughout the series.
Megan’s song This is currently in the Top 5 of the iTunes charts – and it’s not the only one of her tracks making an impact.
Her cover of It Must Have Been Love, from the semi-final, together with original songs Stronger, When I’m Crying, Half of My Heart and Everything But You are all also racking up downloads and streams.
Meanwhile, a charity single released by all 13 of Celebrity X Factor’s finalists has peaked at Number 1 on iTunes.
The group have recorded a group cover of Snow Patrol’s Run to help raise funds for Together For Short Lives and Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.
You can download and stream the song via Amazon Music here or Apple Music/iTunes here.
100% of record company profits from the sale of each download and audio stream of the single shared equally by Together For Short Lives (registered charity no. 1144022) and Shooting Star Children’s Hospices (registered charity no. 1042495).
