A celebrity version of The X Factor is on the way for 2019 – who is on the line up?
X Factor boss Simon Cowell previously revealed plans to postpone the sixteenth regular series of the singing contest in favour of two spin-offs.
One will be a ‘champions’ edition featuring fan favourites from past years, while the other will feature celebrity contestants.
Celebrity X Factor will begin in October on ITV.
And today saw the X Factor celebrity line up of contestants confirmed…

Celebs who will take part in the show are:
Kevin McHale – Glee star, best known for his role as Artie Abrams in the hit US TV series between 2009 and 2015.
Try Star – Sports stars Thom Evans, Ben Foden and Levi Davis have formed a group to compete on the new ITV series.
Martin Bashir – TV news journalist
Max & Harvey – Teenager pop duo, CBBC and YouTube stars
The Islanders – Former Love Islanders Zara McDermott, Eyal Booker, Wes Nelson and Samira Mighty team up to sing in the competition.
Brendan Cole and Jeremy Edwards – Former Strictly Come Dancing pro Brendan and Hollyoaks actor Jeremy have formed a duo.
Jenny Ryan – The Chase star known as The Vixen
Victoria Ekanoye – Coronation Street actress
Ricki Lake – Chat show host
Olivia Olson – Actress and child star of Love Actually
Hayley Hasselhoff – Actress and model, daughter of David Hasselhoff
Megan McKenna – Reality TV personality
Jonny Labey – EastEnders actor
V5 – A group made up of social media ‘influencers’ Sofia, Alondra, Laura, Natalie and Wendii.
Vinnie Jones – Footballer turned actor
It was reported that show bosses had set aside a £3 million budget to sign names for the series.
And it’s not just for fun: The winner is set to scoop a record deal – just like the regular version.
They’ll also compete for the Christmas Number 1 spot, something The X Factor has failed to get close to in recent years.
As for the X Factor 2019 judges, it’s confirmed that the panel for both the Celebrity and All Stars series will see three familiar faces.
Alongside Simon, former judges Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger will be returning to the show.
As for when it will air on TV, no date has been announced yet beyond “October” on ITV.
