Celebrity MasterChef 2019 contestants and results

Celebrity MasterChef 2019 is currently airing on BBC One – here’s all you need to know about the series so far.

Back again for a brand new season, Celebrity MasterChef brings together an eclectic who’s who of show business, drama, design, singing, and sport, all jostling for a starring role in the competition and aiming for a shot at becoming Celebrity MasterChef Champion 2019.

Seasoned judges, John Torode and Gregg Wallace return ready to have their taste buds challenged, whilst they whittle down the twenty celebrity contestants.

The full list of celebs on the MasterChef’s 2019 cast includes actors Adam Woodyatt and Elizabeth Bourgine, Radio 1 presenter Rickie Haywood-Williams, presenter and professional quizzer Jenny Ryan and comedian Josie Long.

Joining them are legend of Motown Martha Reeves, Olympic gold medallist Greg Rutherford, MBE, Heavyweight boxer Dillian Whyte, weatherman Tomasz Schafernaker and superstar DJ and lawyer Judge Jules.

More MasterChef contestants are professional dancer Oti Mabuse, long distance runner and former Marine Andy Grant, football hardman Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock and former boxing manager and transgender campaigner Kellie Maloney and icon of design Dame Zandra Rhodes.

Rounding up the line up are actor and radio presenter Mim Shaikh and TV personalities Vicky Pattison, Dom Parker, Dr Alex George and Joey Essex.

Final

The four confirmed finalists were Olympic long jumper Greg Rutherford, Heavyweight boxer Dillian Whyte, Reality TV personality Vicky Pattison and former professional football player Neil Ruddock.

In the first part of the final, Dillian was eliminated leaving Vicky, Neil and Greg as the final three.

In the grand final, the Celebrity MasterChef winner was revealed as Greg Rutherford.

 

Semi-final results

The eight contestants who made the semi-final were reality star Joey Essex, Goggleboxer Dom Parker, Heavyweight boxer Dillian Whyte, and former boxing manager and transgender campaigner Kellie Maloney, former professional football player Neil Ruddock, Olympic long jumper Greg Rutherford MBE, star of The Chase Jenny Ryan and reality star Vicky Pattison.

In the first challenge on Monday, September 30, both Joey and Kellie were eliminated.

In the second challenge on Wednesday, October 2, Jenny was eliminated.

In the third challenge on Friday, October 4, Dom was eliminated leaving Vicky, Dillian, Greg and Neil in the final.

Heats

In the first four weeks, celebs were split into groups of 5 who took part in the heats, with two making it through to the semi-finals in each week.

Heat 1

The celebs taking part in the first heat were fashion designer Zandra Rhodes, former professional football player Neil Ruddock, reality star Joey Essex, Strictly pro Oti Mabuse and long-distance runner and former marine Andy Grant.

Andy, Oti and Zandra were eliminated, leaving Joey and Neil as semi-finalists.

Heat 2

Heat two, airing from Monday, September 9, featured Goggleboxer Dom Parker, comic Josie Long, radio presenter and poet Mim Shaikh, The Chase’s Jenny Ryan and Love Island’s Alex George.

Mim, Josie and Alex were eliminated, leaving Dom and Jenny as semi-finalists.

Heat 3

Starting heat three from Monday, September 16 were TV presenter Rickie Haywood-Williams, legendary Motown singer Martha Reeves, Olympic long jumper Greg Rutherford MBE, actor Elizabeth Bourgine and heavyweight boxer Dillian Whyte.

Rickie, Martha and Elizabeth were eliminated, leaving Greg and Dillian as semi-finalists.

Heat 4

In the final heat from Monday, September 24 were actor actor Adam Woodyatt, weatherman Tomasz Schafernaker, superstar DJ and lawyer Judge Jules, former boxing manager and transgender campaigner Kellie Maloney and reality star Vicky Pattison.

Judge Jules, Tomasz and Adam were eliminated, leaving Vicky and Kellie as semi-finalists.

Celebrity MasterChef airs on BBC One.
