Celebrity Apprentice 2019 results! Who won and who was fired?

The Celebrity Apprentice 2019 results are in – which team won an which celenb was fired?

For this year’s Red Nose Day campaign, Lord Sugar challenged ten ambitious celebrities to compete in a tough task in Celebrity Apprentice for Comic Relief.

The two teams went head to head with just 48 hours to organise and host a cabaret event – from booking performers, securing donations and gathering auction prizes, to dressing their venue and organising the catering for their event, which were to be hosted at two of London’s premier venues – Café De Paris for the girls and Bloomsbury Ballroom for the boys.

The girls’ team was led by interior designer Kelly Hoppen and included TV presenter and actress Amanda Holden, X Factor judge Ayda Williams, broadcaster and journalist Rachel Johnson and actress and comedian Tameka Empson.

They chose a jungle theme and secured global superstar Robbie Williams and Stavros Flatley to entertain their guests.

Project Manager for the boys’ team was TV presenter Rylan Clark-Neal, who was joined by comedian Omid Djalili, broadcaster Richard Arnold, comedian Russell Kane and football legend Sam Allardyce.

They went with a sci-fi themed and although hoped to book Cher, ended up with two nude men who used strategically placed balloons to protect their modesty.

With the boys in the firing line, Project Manager Rylan decided to bring Sam and Omid back into the boardroom with him to face Lord Sugar.

Lord Sugar carefully considered who was at fault for their loss, first focusing on the Project Manager as he pointed out: “Rylan, you set out wrong – the girls, in their first session, they had it mapped out.

“You didn’t have it mapped out and it was four hours before the show had to go on. The project manager is responsible for the overall task as you know, and I can’t forget that point.”

Lord Sugar also voiced his thoughts on Sam’s performance, saying: “Sam, you were supposed to be their trump card with all those millionaire football players, and I do not accept that you couldn’t get hold of them.”

When making his final decision, it was clear that Lord Sugar felt Omid and Sam were most to blame: “I mean bringing in that balloon act, it was unbelievable – and for that reason, I do believe that you [Omid] are culpable. ”

Lord then said the infamous words: “Omid, you promised a lot, you delivered nothing really – You’re Fired!”

In what may be one of the most explosive responses in the boardroom, Omid forcefully replies “No. You’re Fired!”, resulting in a ‘You’re Fired’ rally between Omid and Lord Sugar, before Omid finally exited the boardroom saying: “I need to speak to my lawyers right now, thank you very much.”

Finally, Lord Sugar addressed Rylan and Sam, said: “Gentleman, thank you very much for your participation in this process – you’ve made a lot of money for Comic Relief, thanks a lot.”

The Apprentice will return for a brand new series later this year.
