Call The Midwife is back for a new series in 2024 with a start date now confirmed.
The hit BBC One drama will be back for its thirteenth series in the New Year.
As ever, the hit drama tells the tale of life in London’s hard-up East End as midwives welcome new lives in the changing times of the 50s and 60s.
When is Call The Midwife on?
Call The Midwife will return with a Christmas on Christmas Day – Monday, 25 December – at 8:15PM on BBC One.
The first episode of series 13 will follow on Sunday, 7 January at 8PM on BBC One.
The new series will then continue weekly with eight episodes. You’ll also be able to watch online via the BBC iPlayer.
The new series is set in 1969 and more babies are being born in hospital than ever before.
A teaser for the first episode shares: “Sister Julienne cares for an expectant mother who has cerebral palsy. Nonnatus House kicks off its new midwifery training scheme with the arrival of four new pupil midwives.”
