Bruno Tonioli has never watched an episode of Strictly Come Dancing

Bruno Tonioli has confessed he’s never watched an episode of Strictly Come Dancing.

The judge since day one has revealed he doesn’t watch the show back – saying he wants to avoid ‘becoming self-conscious’.

Bruno said: “I’ve been doing it for 14 years and I never watched a single show because I don’t want to become self-conscious.”

“But we recently made a DVD of all the best dances from Blackpool – that was the first time I watched something back,” he added to The Sun newspaper.

Bruno joined Strictly on the very first series back in 2004 and recently said he would NEVER follow Len Goodman’s footsteps and leave the Strictly panel.

“I will keep going until I collapse. I’m old school… like Judy Garland,” he said. “I’ll be dropping off on stage.”

After a recent week off, Bruno will return to Strictly this weekend.

Those currently left on the Strictly 2018 line up this year are Steps star Faye Tozer, YouTube star Joe Sugg, England cricketer Graeme Swann, Red Dwarf actor Danny John-Jules and TV Doctor on This Morning Dr. Ranj Singh.

Joining them are BBC Three documentary maker Stacey Dooley, Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts and BBC News journalist Kate Silverton.

Rounding off the current cast are Paratriathlete Lauren Steadman and Casualty actor Charles Venn.

Strictly Come Dancing 2018 is back on Saturday night at 7:05PM on BBC One with the latest live show.

Bruno will be joined as usual by Shirley Ballas, Darcey Bussell and Craig Revel Horwood to score the remaining celebrity couples.

On Sunday night, another will be sent home following the bottom two dance off.
