Two brothers audition for Britain’s Got Talent 2018 tonight with two very different acts.
This evening sees the final round of try outs for this year’s series ahead of the live shows next week.
We meet Shaquille Rayes and Shameer Rayes, brothers from Manchester.
“We’re not twins, we’re 355 days apart, so not even a year, we’re like yin and yang and balance each other out,” the pair say.
20 year old Shaquille is first up, singing and playing the piano. Shaquille performs an original song about his Dad called ‘Crescent’.
He tells the judges: “My brother is back stage, he’s going to be performing after me,” adding that is a “little bit” of a rivalry between them.
As his dad watches on from the audience, Shaquille takes a seat behind his piano and sings for the judges.
After Shaquille learns if he’ll be making it through, 19 year old Shameer follows his older brother onto the stage.
He reveals to the judges that he was inspired by his mum to audition.
“She was a dancer and she just gives me that fire and that passion to go out and do it. I think she did some things on Top Of The Pops,” Shameer says.
Shameer performs a dance routine as a doll that comes alive – but will it be enough to impress the judges?
Watch Shameer and Shaquille’s auditions on Britain’s Got Talent tonight at 8PM on ITV and see if they can both get through.
Other acts performing in tonight’s BGT include the St Lawrence’s Choir, a group of 48 schoolchildren aged 8-11 years-old from Northern Ireland, the Spotlight Stage School from Birmingham and Futunity, a dance group who appear dressed as zombies.
There’s a dancing dog (sort of) in the form of Dudley the Dancing Dog while Nick Page offers up some gags with his stand up routine.
Britain’s Got Talent 2018 airs at 8PM tonight on ITV.
