Micky P Kerr confused Simon Cowell on Britain’s Got Talent this weekend with a song about a bag for life.
As auditions for the new series continued on Saturday, we met comedy singer Micky P Kerr.
Micky P Kerr had the audience in hysterics with his comedy routine despite the fact that it left Simon a little confused at first.
Luckily Amanda Holden was on hand to bring him up to speed (much to David’s amusement).
“I know this is supposed to be a comedy routine but I’ve suffered loss recently,” Micky told the judges.
He added: “I just want to get this off my chest, I’ll play the song because I get emotional talking about it.”
Micky then sings his song about losing his bag for life.
David Walliams said after the track: “What was really funny was seeing Amanda having to explain to Simon what a bag for life was.
“He’s not been to a supermarket since 1981.”
You can watch Micky’s performance in the video above.
With four yeses, Micky is through to the next round.
Other acts this week included cake eating opera singer Sarah Llewellyn.
Just when you thought you’d seen it all on Britain’s Got Talent along comes Sarah to flip the script with her one-of-a-kind act and show that auditioning for the Judges is a piece of cake
There’s also Ben Langley and his misheard lyrics. You’ll never listen to your favourite songs in the same way again after watching Ben’s hilarious audition.
Making up the judging panel this year once more are Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden.
As always, acts need three or more yeses to make it through to the next round – and potentially on to the live shows.
There’s also the golden buzzer, which currently only Amanda Holden has yet to press.
At the end of the series, just one act will walk away with £250,000 and a spot on the Royal Variety Performance.
Meanwhile, hosts Ant and Dec will be present for the auditions, watching on from the sidelines with a comforting hug whatever the result.
Britain’s Got Talent continues Saturday nights on ITV.
Plus, More Talent airs straight after the main show on ITV2.
