Britain’s Got Talent’s Khronos Girls bring some serious girl power to the auditions

Dance group Khronos Girls brought some serious girl power to this week’s Britain’s Got Talent 2019 auditions.

Try outs for this year’s series continued on Saturday night with the sixth round of auditions.

Judges Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Simon Cowell once again took up a seat behind the judges’ desk.

Acts need at least three yeses to make the next round – or the elusive golden buzzer, which only Amanda has yet to hit.

Hoping to make the cut this weekend were Khronos Girls who sent out an important message about women’s rights.

They said before their audition: “Our piece is based on the Suffragettes and with everything that’s going on now we really want to use our voice to tell the people of our generation to get up and vote, especially women.

“You have a voice, anything that happens will directly effect us.”

“Good luck,” wished Amanda.

After their audition the group had all four judges on their feet.

And with four yeses from the panel, they were through to the next round.

Other acts on this weekend’s show included masked magicians Brotherhood who tempt fate with their dangerous stunts, but will they win this game of mystery?

Those that made it through join last week’s successful auditionees.

They included 28-year-old singer Rob King from Manchester who performed Eurovision hit Rise Like A Phoenix and 23-year-old Mark McMullan from Northern Ireland who belted Les Misérables’ iconic song Bring Him Home.

25-year-old variety performer Jay Rawlings set a brand new world record while all women magic act Angels Inc. stunned with an incredible performance.

Rounding off the yeses were dance group Iconic, made up of kids aged 7 to 11 who performed to a medley of hits by artists ranging from Madonna to BGT’s own Ant and Dec.

Britain’s Got Talent 2019 continues Saturday nights on ITV with the latest auditions.

As always, straight after you can tune in to Britain’s Got More Talent on ITV2 with Stephen Mulhern.
