After winning over viewers with his musical performances, record label bosses at Simon Cowell’s Syco and Decca Records signed the 89-year-old.
His record Love Changes Everything is available to order now here after its release on December 6.
The album features Colin covering a number of classic songs – as well as some modern day hits including Ed Sheeran’s Supermarket Flowers [feat. The Kingdom Choir]
Alongside the album, Colin has also released a book My Story: How Love Changed Everything.
Colin won the show in June’s live final but revealed afterwards he only entered as a dare.
He explained on Britain’s Got More Talent: “I can’t believe this has happened. It all started as a dare a year ago.
“One of the guys as I was coming off the stage at our club having sung after the curry lunch…he said ‘when are you going to do it? Would you go on Britain’s Got Talent?’
“I said ‘don’t be silly’.”
Colin added: “I’m completely befuddled. I really can’t get over it. I suppose it’ll take several days before it really sinks in. ”
Meanwhile, Colin said he would be donating part of his winnings to the Royal Hospital Chelsea.
He said: “I live in a wonderful place and I want to make a donation to that.”
Alongside Colin and X, the other BGT finalists were wildcard act, dancers Libby and Charlie, stuntman Jonathan Goodwin, magician Ben Hart, singer Mark McMullan, comedian Kojo Anim, Magic dog act Dave & Finn, singing and dancing group Flakefleet Primary School, magicians 4MG and comedy singer Siobhan Phillips.
