Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions starts tonight on ITV – here’s the first line up of contestants going head to head.
The last 13 years have seen truly incredible talent take to the Britain’s Got Talent stage and now they’ll go head to head with the best Got Talent acts from around the world in what is being described as “the Olympics of Talent. ”
Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions will bring together both Britain and the world’s most talented and memorable acts from past series of Got Talent.
The contestants will go head to head in this supersized version of BGT, all trying to be crowned the ultimate champion and walk away with the cash prize and coveted Champions Trophy.
Each week, nine acts face off with two acts making it through to the grand finale – the first is a Golden Buzzer act chosen by one of the judges or Ant and Dec while the second is voted through by the arena audience.
Expect to see the return of familiar faces as well as welcoming brand new talent from across the world.

Tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent contestants
Ashleigh and Sully
2012 Britain’s Got Talent winner Ashleigh Pudsey won £500,000 after triumphing with her dog act featuring Pudsey. Sadly, Pudsey passed away in 2017 and Ashleigh now performs with new dog Sully. Performing tonight, the duo showcase a new routine to Mary Poppins song A Spoonful Of Sugar.
The Nelson Twins
Aussie comedy duo The Nelson Twins made the finals of Australia’s Got Talent in 2012. Made up of identical twins Chris and Justin Nelson, the pair’s unique brand of comedy sees them reel off non-stop one liners.
Kseniya Simonova
Ukrainian sand performance artist Kseniya Simonova won Ukraine’s Got Talent in 2009 after her husband applied secretly on her behalf. She’s since taken her act across the globe, recently appearing in the American version of The Champions series where he made the final.
The Sacred Riana
Indonesian Magician and illusionist The Sacred Riana won Asia’s Got Talent with her performance viewed over 650 million times.
Paul Potts
As winner of the first ever series of Britain’s Got Talent, singer Paul Potts had no idea what he was in for when he stepped on stage for his audition back in 2007. Returning for the first BGT Champions series, Paul performs Parla piu piano.
Bello and Annaliese Nock
Representing America are father and daughter daredevil duo Bello and Annaliese Nock. The two circus performers have previously performed stunts involving dynamite and helicopters. For BGT: The Champions, they risk their life in the Wheel of Death, a 50ft rotating wheel.
Bad Salsa
Indian dancers Bad Salsa are a dance duo made up of Sonali and Sarder. The pair previously appeared individually in India’s Got Talent: Sonali won India’s Got Talent Series 4 and Sarder was a semi-finalist in series 6 and 7.
Boogie Storm
Dance group Boogie Storm return having previously won Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer in 2016. Performing to a medley of hit songs, the group reveal a surprise new addition to their troupe for 2019 that has Simon Cowell asking questions.
Connie Talbot
Completing the line up of contestants in the first heat is singer Connie Talbot, who first appeared on Britain’s Got Talent when she was six years old. Now 18, she performs an original song which she says is all about never giving up on her dream.
As for the judges, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams – return to the panel as they take their seat ready to be impressed by a whole host of global talent. Joining them will also be the nation’s favourite presenting duo, Ant and Dec.
Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions airs on ITV from this Saturday, August 31.
The first episode airs 8PM-10PM.
