Britain’s Got Talent singer Ronan Busfield shocks judges with his voice

A Tesco worker stunned the Britain’s Got Talent 2018 judges on tonight’s show.

Ronan Busfield, a 33-year-old Ronan is a HR worker for Tesco, wowed the panel with his voice.

He currently lives in Bedfordshire with his wife and baby son but shocked the judges with his cover of ‘Maria’ from West Side Story.

Ronan said on the show: “Music’s always been a massive part of my life. I wasn’t bad at it either, I was bad a lot of other things. I couldn’t catch a ball, I couldn’t draw.

“I feel as though this has been building up inside, and I’ve been pushing it down and trying to ignore it. Finally the day has arrived. I’m ready now.

“I feel ready. It would be utterly life changing.”

After the crowd pleasing performance, David Walliams told Ronan: “That was amazing. A beautiful song, a fantastic version and the emotions felt so true. I couldn’t fault it at all.”

Amanda Holden added: “I just love it when we have people who shuffle on and say they work in a supermarket.”

And Simon Cowell commented: “I wasn’t expecting it, I just didn’t expect this to come from you. It was passionate, believable and I think people are going to root for you.”

The full audition airs on Britain’s Got Talent, Saturday 12th May at 8.00pm on ITV.

Other acts on BGT this weekend include The Cartoon Heroes, who are on the show to provide girl power having set their sights on taking the BGT crown.

Also appearing this weekend is magician Maddox Dixon from Buckingham. He performs magic tricks with a Rubik’s Cube that stun the judges.

Plus, there’s Olena Uutai’s one-of-a-kind act that will have you scratching your head and tapping your feet at the same time.

Making up the judging panel this year once more are Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden.

As always, acts need three or more yeses to make it through to the next round – and potentially on to the live shows.

There’s also the golden buzzer, which both Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden have yet to press.

At the end of the series, just one act will walk away with £250,000 and a spot on the Royal Variety Performance.

Meanwhile, hosts Ant and Dec will be present for the auditions, watching on from the sidelines with a comforting hug whatever the result.

Britain’s Got Talent continues Saturday night on ITV at 8PM.

Plus, More Talent airs straight after the main show on ITV2.
