Faith Tucker has revealed her plans for the prize money if she wins Britain’s Got Talent 2019.
The 18-year-old student will perform live in tonight’s semi-final.
Appearing at her audition earlier this year, Faith revealed her biggest inspiration was Beyoncé before wowing the audience with a powerful rendition of the classical piece ‘Granada’.
“I wasn’t expecting that, to be honest,” reacted Dec from the sidelines.
Amanda Holden described her voice as a “total knockout”, while Alesha Dixon praised her “depth, warmth and richness” and said she “commands attention”.
Speaking ahead of tonight’s live show, Faith said: “I’m very excited for the Live Semi-Finals, it’s been fantastic watching some amazing acts throughout the last few weeks!
“My next performance will be based around a beautiful modern song turned into a classical crossover rendition, which I hope everybody will enjoy. I can’t wait to be on stage again, it has been a truly wonderful experience!”
Should she go all the way and win, Faith has revealed how she’d spend the prize money on a caravan for her grandma.
Faith told The Sun newspaper that the present would be a thank you for inspiring her to sing.
The teenager said: “I was about six when I first heard Katherine Jenkins playing in my nana’s car. So I owe her for giving me inspiration.
“I’m a big fan of Katherine and it would mean the world to me to get a good luck message from her.”
Alongside Faith, acts taking part in tonight’s semi-final include Alesha Dixon’s golden buzzer act, 10-year-old singer from Malta Giorgia Borg; drag comedian The Queen; danger balancing act Vardanyan Brothers and 46-year-old stunt magician Matt Stirling
They’re joined by unique ‘hand musician’ State of the Fart (Guy First), 42-year-old comedy singer-songwriter Siobhan Phillips and 4MG, a group of magicians made up of 18-year-old Harry, 17-year-old Theo, 17-year-old Josh and 19-year-old James.
Britain’s Got Talent 2019 continues live tonight, Tuesday May 28, at 7:30PM on ITV.
The results air at 9:30PM with semi-finals continuing all this week until Friday. The live final takes place on Sunday.
