Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions continued this weekend – here are all the performances and results from the second episode.
The new series welcomes back acts from the past 13 years of BGT to go head to head in a bid to be crowned ultimate champion.
But they’re not alone, going up against contestants from across the world as well as each other.
Across the first five episodes, nine acts will take to the stage each Saturday night and two will make it through to the grand final.
In the second heat tonight (September 7), the results saw German dog act Alexa Lauenburger and dance group MerseyGirls make it through.
Alexa won the latest golden buzzer of the series from Ant and Dec while MerseyGirls won the superfan audience vote. Both will go through to the final.
They join last week’s first heat winners, Ukrainian sand performance artist Kseniya Simonova and daredevil duo Bello and Annaliese Nock.

100 Voices of Gospel
Choir 100 Voices of Gospel first appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2016 where they made the final. The group is made up of singers from all over the world – some 20 nationalities in all – including the UK, USA, Paris and Africa. This weekend, they opened up the first heat with an energetic performance of Elton John’s I’m Still Standing.

Lost Voice Guy
This week saw the return of the first comedian to ever win BGT, Lost Voice Guy, who triumphed on Britain’s Got Talent in 2018. He was back on the stage with more jokes to share via his trusty iPad.
Alexa Lauenburger (GOLDEN BUZZER)
11-year-old Alexa Lauenburger previously won the German version of Got Talent in 2017 with her eight dogs. Appearing on BGT: The Champions tonight with her dogs Jenny, Sabrina, Nala, Sally, Maya, Specky, Katy and Emma, Alexa won the golden buzzer from Ant and Dec after performing to The Greatest Showman’s The Greatest Show.
Paul Zerdin
British ventriloquist Paul Zerdin previously won the American show in 2015, scooping a $1 million prize. Appearing on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions this weekend, Paul and his friend Sam started by taking a cheeky swipe at David Walliams which he fortunately took in good humour.
Gao Lin & Liu Xin
Gao Lin & Liu Xin are a husband and wife acrobatic duo from China who previously appeared on the show in 2017. On tonght’s Champions, they performed a dance routine that ended with Liu standing on tiptoes on her partner’s head which Alesha described as “absolutely stunning:.
Antonio Sorgentone
Singer and pianist Antonio Sorgentone won Italy’s Got Talent having started playing when he was 10-years-old. Tonight, he appeared on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions tonight with a “bonkers” musical performance that saw him play a flaming piano.

Mersey Girls (SUPERFAN VOTE)
Dance group MerseyGirls won Alesha’s golden buzzer in series 11 (2017) and made an emotional return to the stage tonight after Simon paid £175,000 for surgery for group member Julia that allowed her to keep dancing.
Deadly Games
Deadly Games are a daredevil duo made up of America’s Got Talents’ Alfredo and Poland’s Got Talent Season 8 winner Aleksandra Kiedrowicz. This weekend they brought their act from Vegas to the BGT stage as Alfredo threw knifes and fired crossbow bolts at his fiancée to stun the judges.
Jai McDowall
Closing this weekend’s show was series 5 winner, singer Jai McDowall who got an apology from Simon after previously saying Jai wasn’t a “genuine star”. Jai gave an amazing performance of I’ll Never Love Again to get a standing ovation from both the judges and audience.
