Britain’s Got Talent finalist Henry Hall dies, aged 86

Britain’s Got Talent finalist Henry Hall has passed away, aged 86.

Tributes have been paid to the singer who made the final of Britain’s Got Talent in 2017 as part of duo The Pensionalities.

The Pensionalities were made up of Henry and his pal Malcom White. They won over the judges in their first audition before topping the public vote in their semi-final. They ultimately finished the competition in fifth place.

Henry passed away peacefully at his home last month on April 28, reports the Daily Mirror.

His obituary reads: “In both life and death, Henry definitely did it ‘his way!’

“He died peacefully at home, as he wished, with his family. He lived an extraordinary life and was known to a great many people as H from Cusworth’s Motorcycles and latterly half of The Pensionalities from Britain’s Got Talent.

“He was loved by many, forgotten by none and will be greatly missed by all.”

In their first audition for Britain’s Got Talent, Henry and Malcom introduced themselves to the judges before singing You Make Me Feel So Young.

Amanda Holden said: “I loved you! I think you’ve both got great voices. You made me feel very nostalgic.”

Alesha Dixon added: “You guys are so warm and funny and that was just great.”

David Walliams commented: “I love you two! There’s a wonderful chemistry.”

And Simon Cowell concluded: “You’re the kind of act you feel good after seeing.”

The current series of Britain’s Got Talent is airing on Saturday nights on ITV.
