The Britain’s Got Talent Champions results are in from the fourth heat – who is through to the all stars final?
Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions continued on ITV tonight, seeing more acts from the past 13 years of BGT go head to head with acts from across the world.
The first five weeks will see a series of heats with nine acts competing for two spots in the grand final each Saturday night.
This weekend’s fourth heat results (September 21) saw American comedian Preacher Lawson and dance duo Stavros Flatley make the final.
They join last week’s heats winners – dancers Paddy and Nico and illusionist Darcy Oake – in the final together with the previous heat winners, German dog act Alexa Lauenburger, salsa duo MerseyGirls, Ukrainian sand performance artist Kseniya Simonova and daredevil duo Bello and Annaliese Nock.
Each week, one of the judges – Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams – or hosts Ant and Dec send their favourite act straight to the final by pressing the Golden Buzzer.
This week it was Simon’s turn, and it was Stavros Flatley who earned his backing.
Hitting the golden buzzer, Simon told the father and son pair: “I’ve wanted to say this to you for years, I’ve wanted to thank you for everything you’ve done and there’s one way I can do this…”
The remaining acts faced an audience vote which saw Preacher Lawson win the second place of the night in the final.
He beat reigning BGT winner, singer Colin Thackery, and rollerskating duo Billy & Emily in the audience vote, with the two acts ranking in second and third places respectively.
Other acts on this weekend’s show included 2008 winner, dancer George Sampson and mini magician Issy Simpson.
International acts competing are mime act Tape Face from New Zealand, Australian singer Bonnie Anderson and Mirror Family, a mirror and light dance act who first appeared on Czecho Slovakia’s Got Talent.
Another nine acts will go head to head in next Saturday’s fifth and final heat.
