The Britain’s Got Talent Champions results are in from the fifth heat – who is through to the all stars final?
Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions continued on ITV tonight, seeing more acts from the past 13 years of BGT go head to head with acts from across the world.
The first five weeks will see a series of heats with nine acts competing for two spots in the grand final each Saturday night.
This weekend’s fifth and final heat results (September 28) saw dance duo Twist and Pulse and singing duo Bars and Melody make the final.
They complete the line up of ten acts in the final, joining last weekend’s heat winners, American comedian Preacher Lawson and dance duo Stavros Flatley.
Also in the final are dancers Paddy and Nico, illusionist Darcy Oake, German dog act Alexa Lauenburger, salsa duo MerseyGirls, Ukrainian sand performance artist Kseniya Simonova and daredevil duo Bello and Annaliese Nock.
Each week, one of the judges – Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams – or hosts Ant and Dec send their favourite act straight to the final by pressing the Golden Buzzer.
This week it was Alesha’s turn, and it was Twist and Pulse who got her golden buzzer. She told them: “I could just watch you forever, I love it. I loved every minute of it.”
The remaining acts faced an audience vote which saw Bars and Melody win the second place of the night in the final.
They beat sword swallower Alex Magala and 2014 winners Collabro in the audience vote, with the two acts ranking in second and third places respectively.
Other acts on this weekend’s show included former golden buzzer winning comedian Daliso Chaponda and magician Ben Hart.
Completing the line up were American comedian Vicki Barbolak dance group DMX Comvaleñoz from the Philippines and vocalist Gennady Tkachenko-Papizh from Georgia’s Got Talent.
Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions concludes next Saturday night on ITV.
The ten acts that are now through the five heats will go head to head in the grand final next weekend.
One will be crowned the ultimate champion, walking away with a cash prize and coveted trophy.
